Concrete Pool Surrounds on the Central Coast

Pool surrounds need to be safe underfoot, drain well and stand up to chlorine, salt and the Coast sun. We build new concrete pool surrounds, and we resurface tired ones with spray-on finishes.

Finishes that work around pools

• Exposed aggregate - a naturally textured, grippy surface, and one of the most popular choices around pools.
• Spray-on - a non-slip decorative layer over existing concrete, in a range of colours.

Built with drainage in mind

We set the falls to carry splash water away from the pool and the house. Where needed, we fit grated drains, and we work around coping, fencing and equipment.

Resurfacing an old pool area

If your existing surround is sound but stained, faded or slippery, a spray-on resurface or a clean and reseal can transform it for a lot less than starting again.

Common questions

Will the surface be slippery when wet?

We use textured finishes and non-slip sealers on pool areas, so it's safer for bare feet.

Can you work around my pool fence?

Yes. We pour around existing fence posts and coping, and we can coordinate with your fencer if the fence is going in after.

Is the sealer affected by chlorine or salt water?

Sealed concrete handles normal pool use well. Resealing every few years keeps it protected and looking good.
