The Peninsula has changed a lot. Older fibro cottages are making way for new homes, and every new build needs a driveway, paths and often a slab for the shed. We have been doing concrete work across Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach and the surrounding bays for more than 30 years.
Getting drainage right on flat, sandy ground
Much of the Peninsula is flat and sandy, and some streets are low-lying. That means water has nowhere to run unless the concrete is laid with the right falls. We set every driveway and path to drain away from the house and toward the street or a grate. Sandy ground also needs proper compaction under the slab, so we prepare the base carefully before we pour.
If your property is in a flood-affected area, council may have requirements for levels. We can work with your plans or certifier on this.

Peninsula blocks are often narrow, with side access only and neighbours close by. We plan the pour around that, using a concrete pump where needed and protecting fences, gardens and paths. We also leave the site clean when we finish, which matters when you share a street with close neighbours.

Yes. We regularly pour driveways and paths at the end of a build and can work around your builder's timing.
My driveway holds water. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. Depending on the problem we can regrade sections, add a grate or replace the driveway with the right falls. We will look at it when we quote.
Can you resurface an old driveway instead of replacing it?
If the concrete is sound, a spray-on finish or a clean and reseal can make it look new for much less than a replacement.
